Strategy is crucial if you must fulfill your destiny in a grand style. To escape the tragedies of life, you need a strategy. Every success in life requires a strategy, and embedded in your strategy is the perfect timing for taking specific actions. Positive changes only occur in life when right actions meet right timing. This is what we call strategy.
Working with divine strategy is a function of understanding divine timing. This is why you cannot successfully carry out God’s assignment for your life outside of His own timing. Moses tried it and he became a fugitive. (Acts. 7:22). He was trying to accomplish divine purpose with the energy of the flesh (outside of God’s timing) and he entered into trouble for it.
Strategy is always more important than energy. (John 6:6). Having a strategy is first about knowing what to do in every situation. It’s not about about dispensing energy, but knowing which direction to dispense the energy in. (Ecclesiastes 10:15).
Understanding divine timing is crucial for anyone to succeed in life. The men of Issachar had the understanding of the times to know what Israel ought to do, and their brethren were at their command. (1st Chronicles 12:32). Understanding of times and seasons always helps you know what to do. And when you always know what to do in any situation, you’ll be in command. God is not only a God of Purpose; He is also a God of times and seasons.
In the analysis of God’s timing, there is always the time for preparation and the time for manifestation. Before the disciples began their assignment, they had their time of preparation. (Luke 24:49). And when the timing for their manifestation came, it met them at the place of preparation. (Acts. 2:1-4). Jesus also had His time of preparation for 30 good years. After His period of preparation was over, He needed just three years and six months to turn the world upside down.
Proper Preparation Prevents Poor Performance!
Things to put in perspective during your preparation time:
📌 Get your life straight with God.
📌 Be studious (Daniel 9:2).
📌 Be prayerful.
