Strategic positioning means being at the right place at the right time. This gives you a special advantage.
Every man has a place in life, and Proverbs 27:8 shows us that a man can wander away from his place. This place is likened to a nest.
Being away from your rightful place makes life generally difficult. Likewise being at the right place at the right time (strategically positioned), makes you easily blessed.
Examples of men that were strategically positioned:
1) Zacchaeus (Luke 19: 1-5): Seeing he was of short stature, he decided to position himself at the top of a tree when he heard Jesus was about to pass that way. That move earned him and his household, a night with Jesus.
2) Jesus Christ (Mark 3:14): Jesus knew that the Jews were unto him and would soon try to end his message by killing him. He repositioned him strategically, by selecting twelve disciples to continue the spread of the gospel after he was gone.
3) Phillip (Acts 8:26-40): Phillip was strategically positioned with the help of a revelation. He was made to go towards the South, on the road that goes from Jerusalem to Gaza. Here, he met with the great eunuch from Ethiopia who he ultimately converted and baptized on this journey.
How do you become strategically positioned?
1) Repent from all known sins
2) Stay where God wants you to be
3) Stay in your place of Grace (Genesis 1:21)
4) Stay where you can be seen (Matthew 5:14)
5) Surround yourself with the right people.
6) Stay where God has blessed (Psalm 133:3)
7) Be diligent (Proverbs 22:28)
8) By the Mercy of God.
9) Service
