Key text: 1st kings 19:15-20

Most Christians, are interested in the product of a mantle and not the mantle itself. There is a mantle that elevates a man/woman to the next level. Elisha for example, was a wealthy and skillful man but he needed a mantle to move to the next level.

What is the mantle?
1) The mantle is that item that can transmit ,translate or transfer the power of God
2) It is anything that can carry the presence of God
3) The mantle is an office or position.
There are some battles that can escape the oil but the mantle paralyses it.

Things to know about the mantle:
1.Anybody can possess the mantle but you have to want it, need it, and desire it.
2.You must be a man or woman of aggressive prayers to obtain the mantle.
3.You must be a man or woman of worship.
4.You must be a man or woman of sacrifice.
5.For you to activate the mantle, you must be a sacrificial giver.

The most important ingredient in the mantle is the desire. The earnest desire for the mantle, followed by divine actions as led by the spirit of God will ultimately lead to the possession of the desired mantle.
