Text: Deut. 28:1–13; Mat. 5:13
Taking the lead is God’s design and agenda for His children.
The purpose of redemption is to take you from the back to the front. You were saved to be celebrated, not tolerated. Jesus died so that you could be redeemed, not reduced. You are meant to take the lead, not endure perpetual defeat. Redemption was effected to bring you into relevance.
The phrase “taking the lead” is a call to action to move from ground level to the mountain top. While the ground level is crowded, the top offers ample space. When you take the lead, you allow your light to shine, as mentioned in Matthew 5:16.
Taking the lead is a call to relevance. Prayer: “Oil of relevance, begin to manifest in my life, in the name of Jesus!”
As children of the Most High, we are expected to function and lead in high places. Therefore, God is calling us to stand out and become exceptional in our endeavours.
To take the lead is to ensure that your presence anywhere adds colour and flavour to the place.
What to do to experience this grace at work in your life
– You need a vision (Gen. 13:14–16; Jer. 1:11). The future you cannot see is the future you cannot have or manifest. Success does not begin when you start having money; it begins with the state of your mind.
Prophetic declaration: “My Father, I declare that my future is a success!”
– Pay attention to men and women whose lives already demonstrate the dimension of success that you desire. Learn from their stories and follow their tracks.
Prayers
– My father, I am ordained for great things. I cannot die small. Father, release your power upon my life, in the name of Jesus!
– Every satanic limitation over my family, you are a liar! Break now! In the name of Jesus!
