Scriptures: Hebrews 11:6, Luke 17:6, Matthew 17:20, Mark 4:39, Luke 5:24-25, Matthew 21:19, John 11:43 -44, Hebrews 11:3
Without faith, it’s impossible to please God (Hebrews 11:6)
Your faith does not have to be enormous. The Bible suggests that your faith can be as small as a mustard seed. (Luke 17:6, Matthew 17:20)
Although Jesus taught us about faith, He also highlighted that we possess the power to speak things into existence. Achieving anything in the spiritual realm as a spiritual entity is difficult without faith. Faith is the currency of the supernatural world and is required to receive anything in that realm.
Often, people pray to God about their issues but forget to tell their problems about God. They frequently complain to God about how overwhelming their problems are, but fail to confront their problems and remind them of how powerful their God is.
It is essential for us to learn how to communicate with objects, problems, and circumstances. Every aspect of life responds to a voice, as everything in this world came into existence through the power of words. As stated in the Bible, “God said, Let there be…” and by speaking, God created everything. Therefore, we should also speak to things, as it can lead to a positive outcome.
Things God Spoke To
– He spoke to the wind
“When Jesus woke up, he rebuked the wind and said to the waves, “Silence! Be still!” Suddenly the wind stopped, and there was a great calm.” Mark 4:39 (NLT)
– He spoke to a dead man to come forth
Then Jesus shouted, “Lazarus, come out!” And the dead man came out, his hands and feet bound in graveclothes, his face wrapped in a headcloth. Jesus told them, “Unwrap him and let him go!” John 11:43 -44 (NLT)
– He spoke to the fig tree and it withered
“And he noticed a fig tree beside the road. He went over to see if there were any figs, but there were only leaves. Then he said to it, “May you never bear fruit again!” And immediately the fig tree withered up.” Matthew 21:19 (NLT)
– He spoke to a paralyzed man.
“So I will prove to you that the Son of Man has the authority on earth to forgive sins.” Then Jesus turned to the paralyzed man and said, “Stand up, pick up your mat, and go home!”[25] And immediately, as everyone watched, the man jumped up, picked up his mat, and went home praising God.” Luke 5:24-25 (NLT)
– He spoke to the earth
“By faith, we understand that the entire universe was formed at God’s command and that what we now see did not come from anything that can be seen.” Hebrews 11:3 (NLT)
Remember that you have the power to confront and overcome your difficulties. Don’t let them defeat you. There is no challenge in your life that cannot be overcome with the right words spoken in faith. God’s ministry is a testament to the power of speech, and as a child of God, you too have the authority to speak with conviction and authority. So don’t be afraid to use your voice and exercise your faith.
