Key text: 1st Samuel 30:1-4
1) Family is important: God created a system called marriage to ensure the continuity of family. God does not mass produce.
When things are down, you will always go back to family. The family is always a soft target for the enemy especially when the enemy cannot get the main target.
Therefore, when God blesses you, it is so you can bless others and that is why God brought you into the family. God decides the family you’re born into and he doesn’t bring people together for nothing.
2)Your life is a life of impact (1st Samuel 22:1, 2nd Samuel 23:8-10,14-16):
Just like David transformed those discontented and bitter men into something mighty, our lives are supposed to be lives of impact that transform other people, impact starts with kindness and as believers and children of God, we’re expected to be kind.
Your word have power all the times, before you speak, think about your words.
3)In the midst of chaos, be calm, you’ll find a solution first.
Your calmness and quietness comes from the peace of God and this peace comes from a place of knowledge.
4)Inquiry prayers (1st Samuel 30:8)
You have to inquire from God why certain things happen, these prayers help you to sieve out things that are unnecessary in life and know the right steps to take in life.
